Isolated to scattered showers & thunderstorms with main threats being strong gusty winds, possibly in excess of 50 mph, and blowing dust.
After a break from the June activity, monsoon 2026 will be ramping up again this week across southeast Arizona. Initially today, storm activity will be east of Tucson but starting on Tuesday, storm chances move west to start including the Tucson Metro. At first, the main threats will be wind and blowing dust through about Wednesday, but then later in the week, as deeper moisture moves in, flash flooding will be a threat as well. Stay weather aware through the week!
Extreme Heat Warning. WHAT… Hot temperatures with major heat risk. Afternoon temperatures up to 111°F. TIMING… Tuesday 10am through Wednesday 8pm.
